The OLC Teacher provides a safe, nurturing environment, engaging children in age-appropriate activities to support their development.
Responsibilities include caring for children during meals, naps, and hygiene routines, maintaining clean and sanitary spaces, and following policies and safety guidelines.
They communicate with parents and the Program Director about daily activities, incidents, or concerns.
Teachers prepare and implement curriculum, oversee classroom activities, and ensure children are equipped for their next developmental stage.
Additional duties involve inventory management, maintaining consistent attendance, and fostering a positive, supportive atmosphere.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of experience with children, CPR certification, and physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
