Job Summary

Klarman Eating Disorder Residential Unit Nutrition Technician SummaryResponsible for assisting the Dietitian in the provision of nutrition services to a broad patient population. This includes appropriate meals, between-meal nourishments, and special formulas required by each individual patient.Does this position require Patient Care? YesEssential Functions-Assists dietitian in the assessment of nutritional needs. -Interview patients to identify food preferences, allergies, and nutritional status. -Assesses patient calorie counts, percentage of food consumed by the patient, conducts meal rounds, diet restriction monitoring, etc. -Maintains pertinent records.

The position is for Klarman Eating Disorders Center (KEDC) which focuses on the treatment of eating disorders (anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, ARFID) in a multi-month residential and partial program.Training integrates an evidence-based approach in the treatment of these individuals.
