Mountain Community Health Partnership (MCHP) is seeking a full time Nursing Team Lead. The Nursing Team Lead provides direct patient care while serving as a front-line leader for clinical staff. This role supports daily clinic operations, promotes high standards of patient care, and acts as a liaison between nursing staff and management. This Nursing Team Lead works under the supervision of the RN Nurse Manager and clinical providers and functions as a clinical resource for licensed and unlicensed team members. This position requires strong clinical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to collaborative, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing and clinical support staff. Coordinate and support patient flow to ensure timely, efficient care. Implement approved standing orders, protocols, vaccinations, screenings, and lab orders. Participate in daily huddles and quality improvement activities. Organize and delegate clinical duties according to scope. Support staff scheduling, problem resolution, and workflow coordination. Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of clinical staff. Act as a liaison between staff and management, escalating concerns as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Education: Active NC Registered Nurse Licensure. Bachelors degree in nursing preferred. Experience: Minimum two years of medical office experience. Prior lead, supervisory, or management experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills. Sound judgement and ability to maintain confidentiality and respect.
