Position Summary

Responsible, as part of the Nursing Professional Development team, for the orientation, continued learning, educational counseling and competency of the Patient Care Services (PCS) staff at The Valley Hospital and its affiliates. Interacts with PCS staff and managerial levels of personnel to identify, plan, implement and evaluate educational programs which correlate with the goals and objectives of PCS and those of the Valley Health System.

Education

Registered Nurse, currently licensed in New Jersey. Masters degree preferred.

Experience

Minimum 5 years clinical experience and prior experience in teaching the adult learner.

Skills

National Nursing Certification required (any specialty)
