What You'll Do
Leadership & Staff Development
Lead, mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff to promote engagement, accountability, and professional growth
Manage staffing plans, scheduling, and workforce development initiatives
Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing education and competency development
Foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused culture
Clinical Operations & Patient Care
Oversee daily operations of Oncology and Infusion Services
Ensure the delivery of safe, evidence-based, patient-centered care
Promote clinical excellence and adherence to established oncology and infusion best practices
Support staff in delivering compassionate care that meets the unique needs of oncology patients and their families
Quality, Safety & Regulatory Compliance
Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor key performance indicators
Analyze patient outcomes and implement strategies to improve quality and safety
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies
Promote a culture of patient safety and continuous improvement
Resource & Financial Management
Manage departmental budgets, staffing resources, equipment, and supplies
Monitor productivity and resource utilization to support operational efficiency
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost-effective care delivery
Collaboration & Patient Advocacy
Partner with physicians, pharmacists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
Support the development and implementation of treatment plans and care initiatives
Ensure patients and families receive education, resources, and support throughout their treatment journey
Qualifications
Required
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or ability to obtain within three years of hire
Minimum of five years of clinical nursing experience
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Three years of nursing management experience
Previous oncology, infusion, or specialty care leadership experience
Experience leading quality improvement and performance initiatives

Annual Salary Range: $75,504 - $113,443.20
Equivalent Hourly Range: $36.30 - $54.44
Performance Bonus
Potential eligibility for performance-based bonus opportunities based on established metrics and organizational guidelines.
