Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager is a professional nursing leader who promotes the mission, vision, and values of the organization while advocating for safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care. As a key member of the management team, the Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff development, fiscal accountability, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of efficient and effective healthcare services.
- Operational Leadership: Directs and coordinates daily operations of assigned department(s) to ensure safe, efficient, and effective patient care.
- Staff Management: Recruits, develops, and retains qualified staff; ensures appropriate staffing levels; provides coaching, counseling, and performance evaluation; fosters professional growth and staff engagement.
