Responsibilities for overseeing the daily operations of the hospital environment unit, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff performance, regulatory compliance and efficient workflow management. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with administrative and personnel management responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- supervise and support nursing staff - hiring, scheduling, training and performance evaluations.
- ensure safe and effective patient centered care delivery
- coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharge and staffing levels
- collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital leadership
- monitor compliance with healthcare regulations, policies and accreditation standards
- manage budgets, supplies and resource allocation
- address patient concerns and promote patient and staff satisfaction
- lead quality improvement and safety programs
- mentor and develop nursing staff and charge nurses
Required Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) in Indiana or other compact licensure state
Preferred: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Five years hospital clinical nursing experience recommended
- One year of nursing management experience preferred
- Demonstrates leadership, creativity, and management skills
