Annually our four campus sites serve approximately 13000 credit students and provide training for 7400 students through the Community College Workforce Alliance. KSAsRequired Qualifications Baccalaureate degree with a major in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university and a current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Virginia are required. A minimum of two 2 years of full-time employment in nursing or its equivalent within the past five 5 years. Additional Considerations Masters degree in Nursing earned from a nationally accredited college or university is preferred. A minimum of two 2 years of recent teaching experience in a nursing program and a demonstrated ability to teach effectively in both the didactic and clinical settings including course development student assessment and course evaluations are also preferred. Demonstrated ability to incorporate technology routinely into instructional and faculty responsibilities and in curriculum development use of multi-media teaching strategies and test construction. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with a diverse student and faculty population.
