Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), Content Management, Licensing, Mentoring, Nursing, Project Tracking, Registered Nurse (RN), Regulations, Training/Teaching, Training/Teaching Materials
Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:
- Preparing course plans and materials
- Delivering courses
- Monitoring progress/attendance
- Advising students
- Recording grades and submitting reports
- Fulfilling faculty duties of instruction in classroom, laboratory, and clinical sites
- Meeting the credentialing requirements compliant with state licensing agencies and regulatory boards
- Participating in program, institution and community activities
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
- Hold a minimum of a Master''s degree in Nursing. Doctorate Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current unrestricted State of Florida RN License or APRN license
- Full time nursing practice, minimum 2 years
- Full time teaching experience, minimum 2 years preferred
- Experience with learning outcomes assessments preferred
- Maternal-Child Health experience is preferred. You will be delivering course content, supervising clinical rotations, and mentoring students across both daytime and evening schedules.
- Schedule Flexibility is preferred: Looking for someone to be available to teach both day and evening classes based on campus needs
