Job Summary:The Nursing Home Regional Medical Director is an important member of the healthcare team in a nursing home, and is responsible for overall coordination of care and for implementation of policies related to care of the residents in a nursing home. The Nursing Home Regional Medical Director has an important leadership role in assisting nursing home administration in providing quality care that is consistent with current standards of care.
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Director to oversee and lead our Nursing & Rehabilition locations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, medical leadership, and ensure the delivery of high-quality employee and patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide medical expertise and guidance to the organization
- Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures
- Supervise medical staff and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Conduct research to improve patient outcomes and quality of care
- Manage medical management activities including utilization review and case management
- Oversee critical care services and ensure optimal patient care
- Collaborate with other departments to enhance patient care delivery

- Post-residency experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising medical staff
- In-depth knowledge of Nursing & Rehabilitation centers and medical best practices
- Familiarity with managed care principles
- Ability to adhere to regulatory standards and quality measures
Salary: $250,000-$275,000
