Position Summary The University at Buffalo School of Nursing is seeking tenure-track assistant professors or tenured associate or full professors to contribute to our growing and exciting research and education programs. The current programs of research in the School of Nursing include promoting health, addictions, health disparities among vulnerable populations, racial, ethnic minorities, African immigrants, LGBTQ, risk behaviors in adolescence, climate, and health, oncology, sleep, palliative care, informatics, and care transitions. We welcome other programs of research to expand our current capacity such as aging and artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities • Maintain an active externally funded program of scholarly research • Teach in undergraduate and graduate nursing courses • Advise and support nursing students throughout their academic progression • Collaborate with faculty, clinicians, and community partners within and beyond the School of Nursing

Minimum Qualifications A PhD in nursing or research doctorate in a related field. If the selected candidate has a degree in nursing, candidate must complete licensure as a registered professional nurse (RN) in New York State within one year of employment.

Preferred Qualifications • Post-doctoral experience • Prior history of funding and/or capacity to submit federal research grants • History of publications and presentations • Experience serving underrepresented/underserved populations
