This is a full-time 9-Month, 24-pay Teaching Faculty position with full state benefits. Blue Ridge Community College is seeking a full-time 9-month nursing faculty. The two-year Associate Degree program is designed to prepare students educationally as contributing members of the health team, rendering direct patient care as beginning practitioners of nursing in various health services facilities. The Associate Degree Nursing Program at BRCC is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing (VABON).

This position includes instruction focusing on client care across the lifespan in a variety of settings. BRCC delivers a concept-based curriculum which offers faculty the opportunity to teach a variety of content. This position includes didactic, clinical, lab, and simulation instruction.
Blue Ridge Community College faculty are expected to participate in scholarly engagement, professional development, which includes teaching pedagogy, institutional responsibility, and community service to both the campus and surrounding communities. Candidates selected for interview will need to facilitate a teaching demonstration as part of the interview process.
