Position Overview:


Under the direction of a licensed nurse, participates in the pt/family care and experience through teamwork, effective communication, basic care skills, customer service skills, and clerical skills.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES

Quality- Provides optimal care to patients/family per facility standards and provides clerical support and coordination to health care team members, patients' and families which is collaborative and meets facility standards -all to achieve the best possible outcome.

EDUCATION

_Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._


HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience


Other: Successful completion of medical terminology course.


Other: Currently enrolled in an accredited LVN or RN school program, or successful

completion of a nurses assistant training program. or equivalent education/experience


LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATIONS


BLS-Basic Life Support


PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:


Current nurses assistant experience.


SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE


Must have demonstrated knowledge of effective English written and communication skills and basic computer proficiency skills.


Under the direction of RN/LVN, manages multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
