Come and join our fast-paced Cardiology Unit! Penn Medicine Princeton Health (PMPH) is seeking a Per Diem Nursing Assistant to work 7PM-730AM. The Telemetry Unit provides a comprehensive team approach to medical nursing and psychosocial needs of patients and families.

The Telemetry Unit is comprised of Medical, Cardiology, and Intermediate Care patients. Common diagnosis includes CHF, Cardiac Dysrhythmias, Acute Coronary Syndrome, Myocardial Infarction, Pacemakers, and Cardiac effusions.

Our Nursing Assistants are responsible for:

  • Assisting nurses in the delivery of nursing care through participation in the nursing process.
  • Demonstrating regard for the dignity and respect of all patients, their families, guests and representatives of other organizations as well as fellow employees, volunteers and medical staff in support of the PMPH mission to provide consistent quality health care services in a professional, caring and responsive environment.
  • Demonstrating responsibility for individual performance and efficient utilization of products, supplies, and equipment.
  • Utilizing time to ensure the timely completion of duties and to promote financial viability through provision of services a reasonable cost.

Credentials:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
  • Basic Life Saving certification (BLS) - Successful completion and certification during first two weeks of orientation and prior to patient care assignment.

Education or Equivalent Experience:

  • H.S. Diploma/GED (Required)

Salary Range:

$18.73 - $29.31/Hourly
