Job Summary

Provides basic nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. Requires knowledge, technique, and skills to therapeutically meet the needs of assigned medical-surgical patients. Responsible for performing a variety of assigned tasks. Must be able to identify each patient's age-specific needs and provide care appropriately.

Job Specification

Minimum Education Required A high school graduate or equivalent

Minimum Experience Required A minimum of 1 year experience with direct patient care preferred

Licensure/Certification Required Successful completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant Program preferred Must be BLS certified required (or obtain within one month of hire)
