The primary responsibilities in the role a Charge Nurse Supervisor is to provide skilled nursing care to residents under the
medical direction of the residents’ attending physician and within the scope of
nursing practice for the state.
The primary responsibilities in the role of a Nurse Supervisor is to ensure all residents are receiving the highest degree of quality care at all times and to supervise the day-to-day nursing operations. The supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the Director of Nursing Service or Administrator.
