Job Title: Nurse Supervisor

Location: Bronx, NY

Position Type: Contract (14 Weeks)

Pay Rate: $80–$90/hour

Shift & Schedule: Day Shift

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to oversee nursing operations, support quality patient care, and promote employee performance and development. The ideal candidate will have strong nursing leadership and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance.

• Monitor nursing staff performance and evaluate patient care practices.

• Assess nursing units in collaboration with Nurse Managers.

• Identify performance or patient care concerns and assist with corrective actions.

• Develop and maintain systems for documenting medication errors and employee counseling.

• Support nursing leadership in maintaining quality and safety standards.

• Communicate effectively with nursing staff and management to address operational and clinical concerns.

• Promote compliance with organizational policies and patient care standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program

• Minimum 7 years of nursing experience

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience

• Active New York State RN License

• Primary Source Verification of RN License and Registration through NYSED

• Current BLS Certification

• Strong English communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing)

• Master's Degree in Nursing preferred
