Pay Rate: $85 to 95/hr
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 37.5–40 Hours Weekly
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Supervisor / Associate DON – Behavioral Health for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bronx, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance
• Monitor unit performance and collaborate with Nurse Managers on corrective actions
• Assist in evaluating nursing operations across Behavioral Health units
• Develop and maintain systems for medication error tracking and counseling documentation
• Support compliance, quality assurance, and performance improvement initiatives
• Provide leadership and guidance to Behavioral Health nursing staff
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
• Active RN License required
• Primary Source Verification of RN License through NYSED required
• BLS Certification required
• Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience required
• Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred
• Prior Behavioral Health leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required
