Title: Nurse Supervisor (ADON)

Location: Brooklyn

State: New York

Schedule: Monday – Friday
Hours Per Week: 35 Hours
Hours Per Day: 7 Hours
Weekend Requirement: 1 Weekend Shift Required Per Month

Job Summary:

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor (ADON) to oversee patient care operations, staff performance, and nursing unit management within a healthcare facility. The role involves developing programs to improve patient care quality, monitoring staff performance, supporting nurse managers with corrective actions, and maintaining systems for medication error tracking and counseling documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and develop programs to improve patient care and employee performance

  • Monitor patient care performance across nursing units

  • Assess nursing units alongside nurse managers

  • Communicate and assist with corrective action processes

  • Develop and maintain record-keeping systems for medication errors and counseling

  • Support nursing leadership and ensure quality patient care standards

  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of nursing experience required

  • Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role required

  • 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Experience managing nursing staff and patient care operations

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing Program required

  • Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Certifications & Licensure:

  • Active RN License required

  • Primary Source Verification of License and Registration of Registered Professional Nurse from NYSED required

  • BLS Certification required

Language Requirement:

  • English (Speak, Read, Write)
