We are seeking to hire a Nurse Scheduler – Staffing Coordinator.
- $18 to $21 per hour negotiable based on skills and experience.
- 40 hours/week; Day Shift.
Nurse Scheduler – Staffing Coordinator Qualifications:
- High School diploma or the equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of Scheduling in a health care setting.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays during staffing crises and pandemics.
- Working experience with scheduling (preferably Workforce Dimensions) and payroll software.
- Working experience with MS Office suite, including strong Excel skills.
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Nurse Scheduler – Staffing Coordinator Job Summary:
- Responsible for the department's master schedule and monthly scheduling to ensure all units and shifts are staffed.
- Facilitate enrollment of agency staff into the time clock.
- Forecast and manage schedule for PTO, holidays, FMLA and personal leave requests to ensure efficient nursing staff coverage.
- Monitor all nursing regular and overtime worked time.
- Daily contact with Administration, Human Resources and payroll staff regarding employee related matters.
- Responsible for managing employee worked time in Workforce Dimensions (UKG) scheduling system.
- Generate daily and weekly reports to track department's staffing.
- Assist with various departmental projects including policies updates, managing employee performance paperwork, education, and ancillary resident service vendors.
