Job Description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an opportunity for a civilian Women's Health Nurse Practitioner at Langley Air Force Base in Hampton, Virginia. 

The Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner contract position offers: 

• Monday – Friday 7:30 - 4:30pm
• Outpatient Clinic
• No Nights, Weekend or Holidays
• No On-Call  
• Stable Patient Population

Job Requirements:

The Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner position will have the following requirements:

• Master’s Degree from an approved OB/GYN or women's health nurse practitioner program
• Or master’s degree from an approved Family Nurse Practitioner or Certified Nurse Midwife program will be accepted with women’s health/gynecology experience
• National Certification through NCC, ANCC, AANP or AMCB
• Any State License
• Must be able to perform IUD insertion/removal, colposcopies and Nexplanon
• Two years of experience in past three years

Job Duties:

• Perform physical examinations on women, including gynecological conditions such as contraception, infertility, menopause
• Order screening and diagnostic procedures such as ultrasound, mammography
• Perform and interpret screening procedures to include cervical screening, endometrial biopsies, colposcopies and IUD insertion
• Prescribe therapies and medications
