What Youll Bring:
- Active California Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Valid CA DEA registration
- NNCCPA board certification in Urology or relevant specialty
- Proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
- Strong clinical skills in urology patient management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Nice to Have:
- Experience in hospital rounding and outpatient urology clinics
- Prior exposure to surgical procedures and case documentation
- Familiarity with hospital privileging processes and requirements
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Current and active CA license with at least 2 years of recent hospital clinical activity within urology
- For surgical roles, current case logs available upon presentation
- Ability to explain any gaps in clinical history exceeding 3 months
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to work typically from 8 am to 5 pm, with 1-2 hours of hospital rounding based on patient load
- Guarantee of 8 hours per day; overtime applicable after 8 hours
- Reliable, updated CV including all hospital affiliations
- Attainment of privileges at hospital facilities, with all required documentation prepared in advance
- Willingness to travel as needed and adhere to all licensure, certification, and hospital policies
