Providence Alaska Medical Center is seeking a compassionate and board-certified Psychiatric nurse practitioner to join its team full-time in Anchorage, Alaska. This role provides vital psychiatric services in an interdisciplinary setting as part of a substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment program. As such, you will be providing medication management services as well as mental health and substance use misuse treatment to both adolescent and adult patients. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic behavioral health team that is dedicated to substance use misuse remission and recovery throughout Anchorage. With 401 beds, more than 1,100 nurses, and more than 800 doctors, Providence Alaska Medical Center is the largest and most comprehensive hospital in the state and the only one with a dedicated Childrens Hospital. A nationally recognized Level II trauma center, this hospital features heart and cancer centers, Alaskas largest emergency department with LifeMed Alaska air ambulance transport, full diagnostic rehabilitation and surgical services, and inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse recovery services for adults and children.
