Henry Ford Health Macomb Hospital is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, multidisciplinary Critical Care team. The APP will serve as a first-line provider in the MICU, delivering comprehensive inpatient care to critically ill patients requiring intensive-level management.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination in partnership with patients and their families. The role involves close collaboration with intensivists, attending physicians, consultants, house officers, nursing staff, and other care team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient outcomes. The APP will perform procedures consistent with credentialing, training, and experience.

One or more years of MICU experience as an APP is preferred.

Education/Experience: Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program. Certifications/Licensure: Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Active state licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications, as required. One or more years of cardiac surgery ICU experience as an APP is preferred.
