Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (PA or APRN) to join our nephrology team and work collaboratively with physicians and trainees in the care of patients with kidney disease and those with end-stage kidney disease receiving maintenance dialysis. Responsibilities include both inpatient and outpatient care, including evaluation and management of chronic kidney-related conditions, coordination of multidisciplinary care, patient education, and clinical documentation. The position offers flexibility in clinical assignments based on the candidate’s interests and strengths, with opportunities to participate in various aspects of nephrology care in a collaborative and academically enriching environment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant or. Credentialing: Must meet requirements set forth by the Medical Staff Office to obtain and retain privileges to practice as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant within UF Health Shands Hospital and/or the Shands UF Healthcare Network, as applicable.

 

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

Current and clear license as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the State of Florida. BLS is required.
