Job Details

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a growing outpatient vascular medicine team in Brooklyn, NY.

The Nurse Practitioner will serve as a primary provider in a high-volume outpatient clinic, performing patient evaluations, reviewing diagnostic testing, developing treatment plans, and supporting pre-procedure and post-procedure care.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Provider, FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, Cardiology NP, Emergency Medicine NP, Critical Care NP, ICU NP, Internal Medicine NP, or Interventional Radiology NP who wants to learn a specialized area of outpatient vascular medicine.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient evaluations for vascular and related conditions
Conduct focused physical assessments and develop treatment plans using established clinical protocols
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic testing, including vascular ultrasounds and imaging studies
Identify patients who may require procedural intervention and collaborate with physicians on treatment planning
Provide pre-procedure evaluations and post-procedure follow-up care
Educate patients on vascular disease, risk factor modification, medications, and lifestyle changes
Maintain accurate and efficient EMR documentation
Work collaboratively with ultrasound technologists, medical assistants, physicians, and clinical staff
Manage a high-volume outpatient patient population while maintaining quality and efficiency
Travel for training as needed

Qualifications

Active New York Nurse Practitioner license required
Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
FNP, AGACNP, ACNP, or related NP certification accepted
Minimum 1 year of Nurse Practitioner experience required
Experience in vascular medicine, cardiology, emergency medicine, critical care, ICU, internal medicine, acute care, or interventional radiology preferred
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Comfortable managing medically complex patients
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume outpatient clinic
Strong EMR documentation skills
Strong communication, patient education, and organizational skills
Willingness to travel for training
