The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Gainesville, Florida.
This role offers a blend of outpatient clinic care and inpatient cardiovascular medicine, providing exposure to a wide range of cardiovascular conditions and treatment plans. What You'll Do
Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions in both outpatient and inpatient settings
Perform hospital rounding, cardiovascular consults, follow-up visits, and patient education
Order and interpret diagnostic testing, including EKGs, laboratory studies, imaging, and stress testing
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising cardiologists
Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and referring providers
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation

Qualifications
Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Florida license or ability to obtain prior to start
Cardiology or acute care experience preferred but not required
New Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant graduates are encouraged to apply
