We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our Developmental Medicine team at Riley Children's Health in Indianapolis, IN!
The Riley Children's Developmental Medicine team helps families with children of all ages who are experiencing developmental issues and have their own individual needs. We address the needs of our patients through inpatient services, consultation services and a variety of clinical programs.
Our Developmental Medicine team offers;
- A complete diagnostic evaluation to create an individualized care plan
- Ongoing, family-centered care that supports patients and families each step of the way
- Guidance to help families and teachers better manage the behavior, communication and learning problems of children with developmental disabilities
- Family support services and resources ranging from parent discussion groups to a special needs toy library
- Services to help transition children to adult life
Details:
- Full-Time, Day Shift
- 40 hours per week
- No weekends or call
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient settings
- Work with an interdisciplinary team of 15 physicians and 11 APPs
- Patient population includes children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders including global developmental delay, intellectual disability, autism, cerebral palsy, and spina bifida
Responsibilities:
- Medical evaluation and management of a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders
- Function as individual practitioner and within interdisciplinary team formats
- Contribute to the teaching mission of the division by including clinical teaching and supervision
Qualifications:
- Master's degree required
- Must be BE or BC
- PNP, FNP, or FNP certification required
