    Bariatric Surgery Advanced Practitioner opportunity in Connecticut.

    Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Bariatric Surgery team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT.

    In this full-time, out-patient position, you will work under the direction of two highly trained physicians, in collaboration with another advanced practice provider, dedicated dieticians, psychologists and a bariatric coordinator. You will evaluate patients prior to surgery, plan patient care, provide patient education and carry out postoperative patient follow up visits in the clinic and at the Saint Francis Center for Weight Management. In addition to supporting patients through their bariatric surgical journey, you will also provide comprehensive medical weight loss management, including the evaluation and treatment of patients who are not pursuing surgery, and the prescribing and management of medical weight loss medications as part of an individualized treatment plan. 

    This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your medical and surgical knowledge. Proven experience in weight management or bariatric medicine as well as dietary/nutrition is preferred, but we are willing to teach a highly motivated new graduate.
