Position Summary
An expanding healthcare organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join a clinic that combines Occupational Health and Primary Care services. This position provides an opportunity to care for working professionals and community patients while partnering with a multidisciplinary team committed to quality outcomes, preventive care, and workplace health initiatives.
The organization is targeting a start date in late August to early September.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-employment, annual wellness, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work evaluations.
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of acute and chronic health conditions.
  • Provide occupational medicine services, including evaluation and management of work-related injuries and illnesses.
  • Develop and execute treatment plans in accordance with established clinical protocols.
  • Conduct preventive health screenings and wellness-focused initiatives.
  • Interpret diagnostic studies and incorporate findings into patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed.
  • Manage employee health programs, including audiometric and respirator fit testing.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
  • Communicate clinical findings and recommendations to appropriate stakeholders when required.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
  • Assist with clinic operations and additional patient care responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner with an active state license.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Urgent Care, or a comparable outpatient setting.
  • Previous Occupational Health experience.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with patients, employers, healthcare providers, and leadership teams.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Active DEA registration.
  • Experience working in employer-sponsored or workplace healthcare environments.
  • Background in workplace injury management and employee wellness programs.
  • Experience utilizing electronic medical record systems.
  • Knowledge of preventive health and occupational medicine best practices.
