We are hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services within a correctional healthcare setting in Wisconsin. Schedule

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations

  • Diagnose and treat acute illnesses, injuries, and chronic medical conditions

  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results

  • Prescribe medications and treatments within scope of practice

  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans

  • Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education

  • Manage chronic diseases including diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and more

  • Respond to urgent and emergent healthcare situations

  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, mental health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams

  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation

  • Participate in quality improvement and compliance initiatives

Qualifications

Active Wisconsin Nurse Practitioner License (or ability to obtain)
Current DEA Registration & Prescriptive Authority
Current BLS Certification
Minimum of 1 year of NP experience
