Nurse Practitioner - Mental Health

         

About the Position

Lane County Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)to join our community adult outpatient clinic in Eugene, Oregon.

In this role, you will provide psychiatric assessments, medication management, consultation and follow-up care for adults receiving services through our general outpatient and/or forensic behavioral health programs. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to providing coordinated, person-centered care to individuals who may experience significant barriers to accessing treatment.

About the Division

Lane County Behavioral Health Services encompasses a broad array of services and programs. Services include treatment for children, families, and adults. Services can be accessed through a variety of programs focusing on mental health issues. Lane County Behavioral Health Services is a public mental health provider receiving funding from state mental health grants and client fees, some of which may be in the form of Medicaid, Medicare, and other insurance carriers’ reimbursements.

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm

Training:

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university, and completion of a Nurse Practitioner program specific to the expanded specialty of Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

• An equivalent combination of experience and training that will demonstrate the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying.

Experience:

• No experience required.

• State of Oregon Registered Nurse license
• Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
• National Certification by a nationally recognized board
• Drug Enforcement Agency certificate
• National Provider Identifier (NPI)
• Current BLS/CPR
• Diploma
• Transcripts
• CV or Resume
• Oregon Driver's License
