Required Skills:
- Valid California license and CA DEA registration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Board Certified in relevant specialty or Board Eligible with 3-5 years of residency experience
- Minimum of 2 weeks on/2 weeks off availability
- At least 2 years of current hospital clinical activity in general surgery or related field
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience working independently in a high-pressure surgical environment
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with surgical case logs documentation
- Familiarity with hospital privileging processes
- Additional certifications related to surgical care or anesthesia
- Bilingual abilities to enhance patient communication
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with Advanced Practice certification (for Nurse Practitioners)
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited program
- Prior experience in general surgery or acute care settings
Other Requirements:
- Active California medical license and CA DEA registration
- Reliable availability for 10-hour shifts (8 am-6 pm)
- Travel arrangements compliant with specified reimbursement policies
- Updated CV with hospital affiliations for privileging process
