Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – General Surgery (Richland, WA)
Coverage begins 09/01/2026 and offers a flexible schedule with inpatient clinic-only shifts (7a–7p or 7p–7a). You’ll join a surgical team supporting a Level 3 Pediatric Trauma center, with opportunities across September–November (plus select dates). What You’ll Do- Provide APP coverage for the surgical team in an inpatient setting supporting general surgery/trauma workflows
- Support trauma surgery care, including pediatric trauma consultation and clinical decision support
- Participate in care related to pediatric surgical cases (including comfort with consulting on peds cases)
- Be available for clinic-only coverage during assigned shift times (7a–7p or 7p–7a)
- Support procedures/case involvement as needed, including endoscopic appendectomy and/or an HMP (as applicable)
- Collaborate with the team to manage a pediatric case load of fewer than 20 cases per month
What You Need
Required
- Current CV uploaded with your bid/application
- License:Active or IMLC
- DEA:Required
- Board status:BC only
- Ability to perform pediatric surgeries and feel comfortable consulting on pediatric cases
- Availability for shifts 7a–7p or 7p–7a (must be available for either schedule)
Preferred
- Experience working in trauma surgery settings, including pediatric trauma support
- Comfort with pediatric surgery consultation in a high-acuity environment (Level 3 pediatric trauma center)
