What You’ll Do- Assist in surgical procedures primarily in general surgery; support orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, urology, and ENT cases as needed
- Collaborate with surgeons, scrub techs, circulating RNs, and CRNAs during surgeries
- Provide perioperative patient assessments and support
- Assist in maintaining surgical records and documentation
- Support patient care before and after procedures
- Ensure compliance with safety and clinical protocols
What You Need
Required:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the U.S.
- Experience in surgical or acute care settings is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred:
- Prior experience in general surgery or related specialties
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment
About the Assignment
Join a leading healthcare facility in Decatur, GA, providing support in the surgery department for a short-term contract. The team performs approximately 90-110 scheduled, non-urgent cases weekly. The role involves assisting in various surgical specialties, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient care.
