Location: Gainesville, FL (float coverage to Macclenny, FL)
Job Type: W2 Contract (26 weeks)
Pay: $74.87/hr
Schedule: Approx. 30–38 hrs/week (includes weekends; possible holiday rotation)

About the Role

We’re hiring a Nurse Practitioner (Float) to provide evidence-based primary and family care while supporting coverage in Gainesville and Macclenny, FL . This is an in-person, patient-facing role working with a dedicated clinical care team to drive strong patient outcomes.

What You’ll Do

• Provide primary/family care: assessment, diagnosis, treatment, health counseling, and disposition planning
• Conduct routine exams and support positive patient outcomes
• Encourage patient engagement through screenings, wellness, and chronic condition management
• Clinic administrative duties (open/close, inventory, patient follow-up, verify insurance/collect payment, maintain clean environment)
• Collaborate with the clinical care team and report to the Practice Manager

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state you’re applying in
• Active APRN license in good standing (no current/prior disciplinary actions)
• Master’s degree from a Family Nurse Practitioner program + current national board certification
• Minimum 1 year recent NP experience in primary care / family medicine / urgent care
• Current BLS (AHA or ARC) — must provide copy upon offer acceptance
• Willing to float between Gainesville and Macclenny and work weekends (6 of 12 weekend shifts)
• HS Diploma/GED (verifiable)

Hours of Operation / Shift Coverage

• Mon–Fri: 8:30am–7:30pm (1 hr lunch)
• Sat: 9:00am–5:30pm
• Sun: 9:00am–4:30pm (30 min lunch)

Additional Notes

• DEA registration may be required during onboarding (if applicable)
• Role is safety sensitive
