Nurse Practitioner (Family Medicine)

Location: Snellville, GA

Schedule: Monday – Thursday (7:30 AM – 5:00 PM) Friday: Remote Workday

Salary Range: $100,000 – $130,000 (Based on experience)

 

Position Overview

KLS is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a thriving family medicine practice in Snellville, GA. This role is ideal for a provider who values high-quality patient interaction and a modern, flexible work-life balance. You will provide comprehensive primary care services to a diverse patient population, focusing on preventative health, chronic disease management, and acute care.

  • Remote Fridays: Wrap up your week from home! Fridays are designated for administrative tasks, follow-ups, or telehealth, providing a rare level of flexibility in a clinical setting.
  • Established Patient Base: Manage a steady daily volume of approximately 25 patients, supported by a professional clinical and administrative team.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and patient screenings.
  • Diagnose and treat common acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions (Diabetes, Hypertension, etc.).
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests such as X-rays and lab work.
  • Prescribe medications and other treatment modalities within the scope of practice.
  • Counsel patients and families on preventative healthcare and health maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR).

Candidate Requirements

  • Licensure: Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Georgia.
  • Certification: Board Certified (AANP or ANCC).
  • Experience: Previous experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine is preferred, but highly motivated recent graduates with strong clinical rotations may be considered.
  • Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • DEA: Current DEA registration for controlled substances.
