Required Skills:
- Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with Endocrinology certification or experience
- Proven clinical experience in endocrinology or related specialty
- Strong knowledge of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid issues, and metabolic syndromes
- Excellent diagnostic, clinical judgment, and patient management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Effective communication skills with patients and healthcare team members
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
Nice to Have Skills:
- Additional certifications in endocrinology or diabetes management
- Prior experience working in outpatient or hospital settings
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
- Participation in continuing education or professional development in endocrinology
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Physician Assistant Studies (PA-C)
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in endocrinology or a related field
- Current state licensure and certifications relevant to the role
Other Requirements:
- Flexible availability within standard clinic hours (e.g., M-F, 8am-5pm)
- Ability to commute or work at our Gwinnett facility
- Commitment to maintaining up-to-date licensure, certifications, and continuing education
- Willingness to adhere to organizational policies on travel, reimbursements, and compliance standards
