    Position Overview

    Harrison County Hospital is seeking a Emergency Medicine Nurse Practioner to join a collaborative, high-quality Emergency Department serving Southern Indiana and nearby Kentucky communities. As a not-for-profit acute care hospital, Harrison County Hospital is deeply committed to compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining efficient operations and strong specialty access

    Patient Volume: ~18,000 annual ED visits

    Specialties: Emergency Medicine

    Coverage Model: 24-hour physician coverage, 10 hours/day APP coverage

    Number of Beds: Emergency Department (acute care hospital)

    Acuity: Consistent community ED acuity with efficient patient flow

    EMR: Cerner

    Procedures: Full-scope Emergency Medicine procedures

    ICU: Access to inpatient and specialty support via Norton Healthcare partnership

    Admissions/Transfers: Supported referral and transfer pathways through Norton Healthcare

    Fellowship/Residency: Emergency Medicine residency required


    Qualifications

    Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

    IN Nurse Practitioner license (or ability to obtain)

    Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care experience preferred

    Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or PA-C
