We are seeking a full -time primary care Nurse Practitioner to work in our practice. The ideal candidate will have clinical primary care experience. This is an 100% outpatient position with office hours from 8am to 5pm, M -F. The incoming candidate should be comfortable caring for a geriatric patient population.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

    • Responsible for the delivery of patient care in their area of specialty through the process of assessment; evaluation; diagnosing; recognition and prevention of adverse events; planning; and implementation.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Performs responsibilities in four areas of practice: clinician, teacher, leadership, and professional development.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    •  <\/span><\/span>Collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure safe; effective and efficient patient care delivery; and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Continuously monitors quality patient care through excellence in customer service and performance improvement that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Provides leadership in the practice location.<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) are required to function consistent with Florida Law<\/span><\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Provides treatment for less urgent acute conditions as well as manages chronic conditions and provides care coordination.<\/span><\/span>

      • Graduate from a Nurse Practitioner program required<\/span><\/span>

      • Preferably 2 Years of experience working in a primary care setting<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • State of Florida License Requirements<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Bilingual English/Spanish - Strongly preferred<\/span><\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Managed Care experience<\/span><\/span>
