Location: Bethel, AK
Type: Permanent Full-Time
Salary: $126,152.00 to $164,008.00 / Annually
Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $30,000
$30,000 for 3-year commitment
$20,000 for 2-year commitment
Relocation Assistance:
$15,000 for individual

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Nurse Manager – Surgical Services for an exciting Travel or Local job in Bethel, AK.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations of Operating Room (OR), PACU, Outpatient Surgical Services, and Anesthesia Services
  • Supervise clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Coordinate OR schedules and visiting specialists
  • Manage departmental budgets, staffing, and resources
  • Ensure compliance with AORN Guidelines, Joint Commission (TJC), and state and federal regulations
  • Drive quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Implement evidence-based perioperative practices
  • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
  • Collaborate across departments to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Active RN license (Alaska or eligible for licensure)
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience
  • Minimum 2 years of Surgical Services leadership/management experience
  • Current BLS certification
  • Current ACLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • BSN or MSN preferred
  • CNOR Certification preferred
  • CSSM Certification preferred
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Experience with budgeting and fiscal management preferred
