RN Nurse Manager-Radiology

Duties

  • Lead daily operations of the Radiology nursing team

  • Drive patient throughput, quality outcomes, and safety initiatives

  • Manage staffing, acuity, and departmental workflow

  • Oversee budgeting, productivity, and financial performance

  • Champion Magnet-level practices & shared governance

  • Mentor, coach, and develop nursing staff for long-term growth

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery


What You Bring

  • Active NY RN License

  • BSN required

  • Proven leadership or management experience in a hospital setting

  • Strong background in operations, staffing, and team development

  • BLS required (ACLS if applicable)

  • Passion for quality improvement, patient safety, and staff engagement
