JOB REQUIREMENTS Minimum Education Bachelors Degree in Nursing within two years Minimum Work Experience 2 years of acute care Required Licenses/Certifications Current Texas RN license BLS NIH Stroke Scale (required before completion of orientation) Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Compile, analyze, and present reports Develop, review, and revise applicable policies, procedures, and job guides Compose letters/memoranda Coordinate meetings, develop agendas, perform loop closure Develop office procedures Interview for all department subordinate positions Proven written and editing skills Research information/data; incorporate evidence-based practice Use computerized spreadsheets to conduct analysis Strong leadership skills and growth potential Adjunct patient care on unit as needed
