A Nurse Manager of Emergency Services is needed at a 238-bed acute care hospital in Panama City, FL. The Emergency Department is a 44-bed unit with a daily patient volume of 140–180 visits.

The role. Reporting to the ER Director and overseeing a team of 55.80 FTEs, the Nurse Manager carries day-to-day administrative and clinical responsibility for the Emergency Department on the evening shift. The manager provides direct, ongoing supervision of staff — including conflict resolution and personnel issues — and collaborates with preceptors to integrate new employees into the team. This role leads active case management for all patients under supervision, conducts data collection and analysis to support operational decision-making, and ensures quality checks and staff development initiatives are implemented consistently across the unit.

What we're looking for.
  • 5 years of acute care (within the last year) ED leadership experience
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required
  • Must be enrolled in BSN program
  • Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure
  • American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification required

Schedule. Evenings shift (3p–11p).

Compensation. $86,000 - $116,000 per year plus Sign on: No Sign on. Relocation Assistance: Case By Case.
