About the Opportunity

As the Nurse Manager, Med Surg/Telemetry, you will provide operational, clinical, and people leadership for a dynamic inpatient unit. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences, strong clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor nursing staff to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence
• Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
• Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety outcomes
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
• Manage departmental budgets, productivity, and resource utilization
• Support staff development, coaching, and succession planning
• Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Current California RN License
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
• Current BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Basic EKG/Telemetry Interpretation experience (or ability to complete training within six months)
• Minimum two years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Leadership experience
• Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Proven success leading teams and driving operational improvements
