About the Opportunity
As the Nurse Manager, Med Surg/Telemetry, you will provide operational, clinical, and people leadership for a dynamic inpatient unit. You will collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient experiences, strong clinical outcomes, regulatory compliance, and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling, and patient flow
- Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety outcomes
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards
- Manage departmental budgets, productivity, and resource utilization
- Support staff development, coaching, and succession planning
- Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient care delivery
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Current California RN License
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related healthcare field
- Current BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
- Basic EKG/Telemetry Interpretation experience (or ability to complete training within six months)
- Minimum two years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge Nurse, Supervisor, or Leadership experience
- Master's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- Proven success leading teams and driving operational improvements
