    Baptist Health is hiring a Nurse Manager (RN) to join our Emergency Department team at Baptist Emergency at St. Augustine in St. Augustine, FL. This is a full-time opportunity.

    The Emergency Department at Baptist St. Augustine provides high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. This leadership role is ideal for an experienced registered nurse who is passionate about developing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes. As a Nurse Manager, you will lead daily department operations while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and clinical excellence.

    Nurse Manager Job Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership and oversight for the daily operations of the Emergency Department
    • Delegate responsibilities and provide guidance to nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
    • Manage staffing, scheduling, and daily workflow to maintain appropriate coverage and operational efficiency
    • Conduct staff coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development activities
    • Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and departmental operations
    • Monitor quality, patient safety, and operational performance metrics while implementing continuous improvement initiatives
    • Provide direct patient care as needed to support departmental operations and patient flow
    • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and evidence-based practice

    Nurse Manager Experience:

    • 3-5 years Nursing Supervisory Experience (required)
    • Emergency Department experience (preferred)
    • Leadership or management experience (preferred)
    • Hospital experience (required)

    Nurse Manager Education & Credential Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required)
    • Licensed Registered Nurse (required)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) (required)
    • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (required)
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred)
