Job Title: Part-Time Director of Nursing (DON) – Home Care Agency


Location: RDU, Triangle Area
Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible Hours)
Reports To: Administrator / Agency Owner

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Part-Time Director of Nursing (DON) to oversee clinical operations and ensure regulatory compliance. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of patient care and supporting our team of CNAs and PCAs.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the development and implementation of care plans.
  • Supervise and evaluate the performance of caregiving staff.
  • Conduct client assessments and home visits as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
  • Train and onboard new caregivers on clinical procedures and documentation.
  • Coordinate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in audits, inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Qualifications:


  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience,
  • Strong knowledge of home care standards and regulatory compliance
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience a plus
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and part-time (to be discussed, per week)
