JOB SUMMARY Works under the supervision of a higher classified employee to direct and coordinate program activities. Plans and oversee program operations. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires potentially long periods of continued walking, standing, stooping, climbing stairs, sitting, bending, pulling, pushing, lifting up to approximately 30 lbs and two handed dexterity to examine and treat children and adults; May occasionally be exposed to unstable and dysfunctional family settings; communicable diseases and blood and other bodily fluids. Required to work in office conditions and travels throughout the community to work in clinical settings, homes, and other locations where services are delivered in high-risk neighborhoods and poorly maintained homes where rodents, animals, and various kinds of filth may be present; climb stairs to access clients in their homes. EDUCATION Possession of a Bachelors degree in Nursing. EXPERIENCE A minimum of two (2) years of public health nursing experience.
