Functions in a leadership role in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team as a direct care provider and clinical expert. Develops and implements practice guidelines, participates as an active and integral member of clinical pathway team, and maintains the established standards of care and practice through staff development, clinical improvement activities, and patient-staff education.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Georgia in good standing without limitations
- Two years of experience as a Registered Professional Nurse RN
- Must hold Certified in American Heart Associations Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (PREFERRED)
- BSN degree
- Two years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the clinical specialty
- Additional Life Support credential (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications in specific units
- Visual color acuity depending on the role in specific units
