    The Essentials:

    Schedule: Full-Time | 72 hours per pay period | Variable Day Shifts

    Location: Pre-Admission Testing - Hospital - 3557 Embassy Pkwy | On-site

    Specialties: PAT | Surgery

    What you'll do:

    Obtain thorough history of health, surgery, social habits, and medication as well as performing a physical exam on patients.

    Complete appropriate documentation and provides patients with pre-operative education.

    Responsible, through nursing processes, for providing and coordinating nursing care, and resource management for patients and families in the pre-operative phase of the surgical process.

    Uses clinical judgment and knowledge of basic principles of nursing based on the biological, physical, and psychosocial sciences to perform accurate patient assessments and to relay information about patients to anesthesia and surgeons.

    What We're Looking for:

    Education: Graduate of a school of Nursing. B.S.N. preferred; Successful completion of course work for specialized training in basic health assessment.

    Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in field or profession preferred.

    Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio; BLS required.
